The experience is private and personal.
Host is very welcoming and provided excellent service. Unit is self catering and well equipped, even provided necessary soap tablets for the dishwasher. Has a good variety of board games and even firewood was provided. Fishing for bass in the dam was successful. Also manage to pet some beautiful cows. It is great that the unit is also off the grid and gardens are well maintained. Unit closely situated to nearby towns for additional supplies, and is a short drive to a number of hiking trails.

An absolutely beautiful place in the midst of the green farm lands looking onto the stunning Drakensberg! A real gem! Gorgeous cottages, great design and decor and amazing hosts that were so hospitable and went out of their way to make our stay as a family of 6 comfortable and suit our needs. Quiet, safe and very pretty… plus good value for money.. This is going to be a popular spot of ours!

This is a little hidden gem. Erika and her husband are most kind and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place. The accommodation was more than adequate, a super comfortable 4 sleeper cottage. It has everything you require for a good stay. The dam is a short walk from the cottage and makes for an ideal picnic spot with crisp cold water for a refreshing swim. The views from the veranda are amazing, especially in the moonlight. We are looking forward to our next stay.

We have no word to describe how truly beautiful the cottage offers spectacular views of the mountains. From the sunrise to the sunset, your soul is just blown. The place is so quiet & peaceful, surrounded by a beautiful preserved nature and animals. The cottage was sparkling clean, and we loved the personal furniture and decorations that the place brings (paintings, plants, vintage furniture, fireplace). It gives an incredible ‘gezelligheid’ touch and home feeling. Although we stayed during winter, it was warm and had no humidity. Last but not least, Erika and her husband are wonderful hosts. Erika showed us around and took good care of us by providing everything we needed. The communication was very easy and much appreciated. THANK YOU.
Our biggest hope is to come back for a longer time.

Beautiful place with incredibly friendly hosts and cows. The cottage is well set up with everything you’d need and the views of the valley and the pass are stunning. Make sure to head out in the field and pet the cows. Are three kids loved them. We wish we would have spent more time but only had a night and didn’t want to leave.

A beautiful cottage with an indoor fireplace, absolutely needed during winter.
Thri views outside with the mountains are stunning. We were two couple staying over and there is plenty of space. Would have love to stay longer with that outside braai and view!
